Cora Z7 Theremin - FPGA based theremin: PMod adapter PCB

The goal of project is to build cool powerful digital theremin.

Key features:

FPGA is used to provide descent sensitivity of antenna sensors, zero latency, advanced synthesis for instruments.
Based on Cora Z7 FPGA development board
Extra sensitive measurement of oscillators frequency (utilizes Xilinx FPGA DDR deserializer and oversampling).
800x480 TFT LCD display with capacitive touch screen allows reach and easy to use UI.
Line In / Line Out / Phones amp with I2S interface - stereo 24 bit 48000Hz for audio i/o.
5 rotary encoders and one push button for controlling of some synthesis parameters / navigating UI as an addition to touch screen.
6 expression pedals (pot based) may be used as inputs for some FX controllers, or as UI controls (e.g. start/stop recording, loop controls, etc.)
512MB of SDRAM allow implementation of advanced reverb and recording.
