F4-Flight-Controller for UAV
The Flight Controller project, named WINT, is about designing and building a custom F4 flight controller tailored for UAVs, optimized for precision, stability, and performance. This project integrates advanced hardware components, including the STM32F405 microcontroller, the ICM-42688-P 6-axis IMU, and the BMP-390 barometric sensor, to ensure seamless flight control and environmental awareness. The controller also includes features like a 16-channel PWM driver for motor synchronization, EEPROM for data retention, and NAND flash memory for real-time flight logging
My motivation for this project stems from a passion for UAV technology and a desire to create an innovative solution that addresses common challenges in UAV control systems, such as flight stabilization, altitude hold, and reliable data retention. I decided to undertake this project to bridge the gap between off-the-shelf solutions and the specific needs of UAV enthusiasts and professionals, ensuring high performance and flexibility for diverse applications
