TSMDU

The PCB was designed for Augsburgs Formula Student Electric racecar for the 2017/18 season. I usually try to buy most of our teams PCBs in Germany to support our PCB manufacturers. This is not always possible for my private projects. I don't want to pay something like 100 € for only two PCB prototypes with additional charges for my favourite red coloured solder resist. I gave PCBWay a shot to gain an impression of the technical capabilities, the quality and service. Leanne did a very good job and respected all of my manually added information. The resulting quality was fine. The solder resist is robust and withstands extensive cleaning with Kontakt Chemie LR. The drill holes are not always spot on but that's far from a problem. I was pleased to be able to use via stitching with a 1 mm grid (very fine) without extra charges. Conclusion: My next PCB is coming in fast and low.
