I'm working on a camera module project based on the ESP32-CAM. While I have experience in mechanical and electrical engineering, I'm not very strong in coding. I'm unsure if there is any open-source code available or if I need to write my own from scratch. If I do need to write my own code, could you point me in the right direction for learning? Also, I'm not familiar with what type of programming language the ESP32 uses. The project requires some additional componnets like a MicroSD card and an FTDI module.
