The circuit is designed to provide the high voltage pulses (<1000V) for starting Euro type metal halide lamps, with either a neon-argon filling or a starting assist electrode. The unit uses 9 THT components. First class PCB manufacture by PCBWay, and delivered to me in the UK lighting fast in 5 days! I will definitely use PCBWay for my future projects, and recommend them most highly
