So, this is the first time we are trying to create a small number of product samples for industry influencers (Youtubers) to try and demonstrate for marketing purposes. I was personally very pleased to see how well the pricing scales with volume. This helped us complete the project immensely. It's also the first time we tried the immersion gold option. We had been aware of this surfacing option from other suppliers, but this was the first time to see PCBWay's implementation. I can honestly say it's top notch. The cost is a little more, but as I said above, once you start getting into more quantities, these differences begin to factor in less to the overall cost. For 1-off prototype boards, I probably wouldn't recommend it, but for professional looking PCBs you will be sending to potential customers, it's well worth the expense.
