We designed a true API 2520 style Differential line receiver to replace the original pre-amp on the Scorpion I and II consoles! The original microphone pre-amp sounds a bit dull, without character, So we at www.Eli-Audio.com designed a differential line receiver to replace the pre-amp. We based our design on the API 2520 style DOA (discrete operational amplifier) for the true API sound, but you can use any 2520 style op-amp and create your own style!
