PSLab Version 4 (Prototype)
This is a hardware project I was doing for 2017 GSoC and I am continuing the project with improvements. This is a prototype I developed according to the Arduino Mega form factor minus some length by few millimeters to stay inside the 100mm range. I used many SMD parts here with 0603 passive components. The labels were 0.5mm and I wanted to check PCBWay silk screen quality along with the prototype quality. I had the version 3 prototype manufactured by a different company and their silk didn't have a quality resolution. I had seen some boards done by PCBWay at my university and those silks looked good. So I tried giving it a try. The quality is impressive compared to the previous manufacturer and drilling, solder mask and pads were in good quality. This was just the prototype and my next plan is to manufacture 50+ boards and I will be using PCBWay for that. One more reason is the shipping cost is lower than the other manufacturer but the PCB printing cost is a little higher than them. But if we take the total (shipping + pcb cost), PCBWay is cheaper by few dollars.
