Raspberry Pi Shutdown Protection

We use several Raspberry Pi computers to serve Web pages and drive display monitors in the San Diego Model Railroad Museum. Power the exhibit is turned off every night, which risks scrambling the SD card in the Pi. This ciruit is a mini UPS that keeps the Pi running for a minute or so and sends a shutdown command so that the Pi performs an orderly shutdown before power is removed. Uses a super capacitor instead of the usual battery. We use PCBWay exclusively for our circuit boards, and we have many of several different types. We always get the highest quality and fast turn-around. Many of the boards are visible to the public in the museum and we get many comments about the classy looking electronics.
