Replacement MOS I/C (now obsolete) replace with a PIC IC
I needed to replace a damaged IC from a retro 90's computer mouse, the ic is Obsolete with no option of buying a working one. So i worked on a PIC with special IC to mach the one it replaces. The program has been tested fully working, how ever, a friend got produced a PCB from another company and the QFN package didn't allow the actual PIC I/C to fit, so i decided to build my own, and designed my package personally with an accuracy of 0.1 Thou Inch. When I placed my order, i had to upgrade to a higher level space option, dure to the fine'ness of the PIC, with tracks. Well the PCBs turned up today, and i took these photo;s using my USB micro-scope and they show clean edges with fine corners, a very good and reliable etch process - thank you A+++
