ST Micro STV1601 Replacement Board

This small 26*26mm board was designed to replace the Sony SBX1601 and ST Micro STV1601 SDI video serializers often seen in many products used in professional TV broadcasting during the mid to late 1990s. The old ICs fail regularly and were well known in the industry for being unreliable at the time. This board was designed to be used in a 1990s Quantel Ramcorder that had corrupted video output. In some cases use of this replacement does require some minor modification to the rest of the circuit as it does not require a line driver. It does provide a quick and simple means to restore video on many systems that would be otherwise be permanently broken.
