TadBoy Color

The front shell of my “TadBoy Color” Gameboy, made from Grade 5 titanium and bead-blasted, is a truly impressive piece. Titanium offers incredible strength and durability, which not only makes the shell highly resistant to scratches and impacts but also gives it a unique, premium feel that sets it apart from standard builds. The bead-blasted finish provides a beautiful, matte texture that feels refined and comfortable to the touch—neither too smooth nor too rough. This matte look also prevents fingerprints and smudges, keeping the shell looking pristine. The Grade 5 titanium gives the shell a solid, substantial weight, adding to the sense of quality without making the Gameboy too heavy. It fits seamlessly with the rest of the components, creating a precise and cohesive build. The color of the titanium after bead-blasting has a muted, almost smoky appearance, which looks fantastic and gives the “TadBoy Color” a distinct, modern aesthetic.
