Test Fixture Interface
I needed a simple and quick PCB to interface to my test fixture. My card was double sided, FR4, .062", and 1.7" x 1.75" and had SMT/THT tech. I was skeptical of quality and thought I would try a no risk project. I entered the information on their web page and it provided me with an instant quote that was cheap enough to take the risk. I uploaded files, they reviewed them and emailed me within 15 minutes to ask if there were to be 2 separate boards to v-score or route. Good that they asked, as I intentionally put a silk line in there to see if they would question it. So far so good. I replied with 1 board only and to follow the board outline on the fab print. Another 15 minutes later they replied with an approval from CAM and asked for payment to proceed. I followed their link and paid with a credit card Wednesday afternoon central time U.S. Monday morning the boards were in my hands. Nice box with holiday greetings on it and an invoice. Opened the box and found my cards in a small zip lock bag, within a bubble wrap that was vacuum sealed, and wrapped nicely with foam for protection. I pulled out the cards and 3 of us engineers examined them under the scope. WOW! Pads were aligned nicely around the via barrels, and solder mask was also equidistant on all sides. Silk was screened (not printed), but very high quality. These boards far surpassed our expectations and we will now try 4 and 6 layer tests to see if they may become a new supplier. Job well done!
