Wearable sensor platform

The flex circuit is the first prototype in a research project for wearable sensor applications. I had to go a bit back and forth with support to understand how big a panel I could make, since this cannot be found in the design rules. Luckily the support lady was prompt to reply, so no issue. The cost was increased with around 500 % relative to the price calculator because I needed impedance control on one of my tracks. If I can avoid this in future iterations of this project I have no problem with it. The circuits arrived on time (a bit too early in fact) and they work as intended. One could clearly see that each circuit had been inspected since some of them (around 1-2 per panel) was crossed out. They sent an extra panel to ensure the number of working circuits was at least 100 %. Oh and I also ordered stencils for a different purpose than solder paste. This took some dialogue for them to understand, but was resolved within 24 hours, which is better than I expected. A very positive experience overall, and I will definitely use PCBWay for the next run.
