Is the use of a optocoupler good for this application?

There is a power source of 75V and I want my Arduino to acknowledge when a switch has been activated. Such as when a switch closes it can read that it has been closed and perform a certain action. Is the use of a optocoupler good for this since there are no mechanical moving parts thus no possible switch bouncing? Or would it make more sense to use a buck converter to step it down to 5V and just have a SPST and have the Arduino read that instead?

    if you dont use opto maybe it burns your arduino

    Yes, you can use optocoupler to do this, you can use phototransistor output (so open-collector) to drive a digital input (with external pull-up resistor or internal one if available). Buck converter, in my opinion, is worthless solution. Here an example:
