Buck Converter PCB for an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Class

The buck converter is a dc to dc power electronics topology which can provide an output voltage lower than the one at the input. Buck converters are used in many low voltage regulated power supplies used in most of the commercial electronic devices. The integrated circuit (IC) LTC1624 from Linear Technologies is a voltage regulator controller able to be configured for different operating conditions.
