Amiga Mouse Switch
The first port on your Commodore Amiga can be used for other things than a compatible mouse, a second joystick for your friend! Unfortunately that often means you'll often have to start the game, switch to the mouse to get past the intro and then finally switch back to your joystick. Well, now you don't have to do this anymore...
though technically you haven't been required to do so since december 1991, when the article I was reading described how to get around that particular issue in an old issue of Elektor magazine. They mainly solved that using a magical GAL, but I didn't want to do that so I took a few of the chips I had left over from building the C64 Joystick Switcher and it even worked.
The module can be built using switches to swap between the two devices, as with the C64 device, for those that want to ensure total control over their peripherals. The other alternative is having the ports switch automatically when the main button on the device is pushed (fire button or LMB). For those that want a more stylish solution, there's even a faceplate so that you can build it up as shown in the pictures.
