Welcome back to PCBWay Youtube channel and Welcome to the show Innovation & Implementation S2! Tower Records has a slogan which is quite popular---No Music, No Life.
Our today’s topic is music&sound. And we’re very happy to see plenty of our PCBWayers embracing music into designing. Let’s check them out!
Switch & Lever provides a cost-effective choice for amateurs. He constructed his own Piezo electronic contact microphone and use it to record some cool sounds. He actually built two devices to pick up sounds. One is a little more akin to an instrument. You can put different objects in the hole and then make sounds. And the other one is more suited for recording sounds from a wide variety of sources. Just put the Piezo element on any objects. You even can use it to record your heartbeat.
Audio effects are hardware or software devices that manipulate how an audio signal sounds. Effects can be controlled via various parameters including rate, feedback, or drive. They are useful when playing live or as studio tools while recording or mixing music. Maaz Electronic made an Echo Circuit Using PT2399, which can easily be connected with any power amplifier.
Gadget Reboot built a Unique Sound Effects with 555 Control Voltage.
Electronics Old and New by M Caldeira tried to improve the tone when connecting a guitar to the phono input of a tube radio. Then he built an interface for the guitar to tube radio.
Learnelectronics made his first kit-built guitar a year ago. In this project, he used 2 humbucker pickups. One for the neck and one for the bridge. And the 3-way switch, which has 3 contacts and 3 positions.
A music sequencer is a device or application software that can record, edit, or playback music, by handling note and performance information in several forms. And RH-Electronics made a Z80 Sequencer which is outputting midi via 2 UARTs.
Our PCBWayers makes plenty of try on “keyboards”. For the eletronic pianos, learnelectronics, Canal TDC, and Alexisgm7 all have built their’s own.
OMANK KACAU made an Electric Drum using the most basic furniture.
Espacio de César made a microphone preamp. Learning from his video, we'll see how to make a microphone preamp that will give the audio a professional touch. And don't worry. Because he designed a PCB that will simplify everything. So it would be quite easy for you guys to start with the preamp.
Eric Strebel built a metal printed microphone for shooting his Youtube videos. The inspiration from this project is from an iconic microphone, which is the Shure 55 microphone. And he wants to build a new microphone based on the old one.
When we talk about the sound outputting, the listening experience is important. So people will buy premium speakers or headphones to enjoy high-quality or Standard quality music. Great Sprout made a DIY active noise canceling headphone. Now he only finished the first part, the whole project will coming soon.
