Electronic Circuits Made Easy

Powering electronic circuits for the first time and realizing that it really works – it’s the best feeling in the world! Nothing else matters, because you just made your circuit work =)

This amazing feeling of creating a real, tangible object out of an idea you had is something truly unique! I want more people to have that feeling. And that is why I created this site.

Anyone can build electronics!

Why build a circuit board?
If you want to build electronic circuits, you need to connect the components of your circuit somehow. If you expect to make your circuit work more than just a few times, you need a solid way of connecting them. You need to create a printed circuit board (PCB).

I started playing with electronics as a hobby when I was 14. Since then I have finished a Master’s degree and founded two electronic design companies. I have learned that creating a PCB can be both simple and cheap!

What do you need to know to build electronic circuits?
To build electronic circuits, you do not need to know any electronics theory at all. All you really need to know is:

■how to find schematics for your project
■how to design a printed circuit board (PCB)
■how to get your circuit board made
■how to solder
I built this web page to teach you about the practical HOW TO stuff. If you want to build your very first blinking LED circuit or if you want to build that awesome super advanced microcontroller board that you have always been dreaming about, I will teach you how.

I recently created a Udemy course on creating circuit boards. Check it out!

No need to wait!
I remember when I studied electronics at the university. I actually didn’t build my own printed circuit board before I was at my third year! By then, I knew some pretty advanced electronics theory, but I did not know how to actually build the stuff I was learning about.

If you think getting electronic circuits manufactured is too expensive, SMD soldering is too hard or that you need expensive and fancy equipment to create professional looking electronics, then think again.

You can actually build some pretty advanced circuits with very little money and very basic equipment. Some discoveries I have made that I will share with you on this site include:

■Creating a PCB design is easy
■Getting professionally made printed circuit boards can cost as little as $1 per board!
■Soldering SMD components by hand isn’t that hard.
If you would like to learn how to build electronic circuits, then you have come to the right place. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner in electronics or if you have a Master’s degree in electronics. Here you will learn practical electronics skills independently of your electronics theory knowledge.
