Esparagus Media Center is a series of three audio products based on ESP32, designed to modernize aging stereo speaker systems through cutting-edge internet streaming capabilities
They offer a simple and quick upgrade, and because all three boards are based on the ESP32 microcontroller, they barely require any power when idle and can boot up within seconds.
Esparagus Media Center boards come with firmware for Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay, and Logitech Media Server, and they can also receive Bluetooth audio from local sources such as smartphones. This enables the creation of multi-room audio systems, and because they use open hardware and firmware, users can customize them to their preferences.
Esparagus Hi-Fi MediaLink can be embedded into stereo amplifiers, providing modern audio sources for aging hardware. Its high-fidelity digital-to-analog converter with line-level output ensures excellent sound quality.
Loud Esparagus can drive speakers directly using a standard USB-C wall power adapter, , and it can be paired with small 3-watt speakers.
Louder Esparagus, suitable for placement in living rooms or dormitories, is a full-size streaming center featuring relatively large speakers. 2 channels driving 20 watts each through a highly efficient D-class amp that packs a punch. Additionally, it offers an Ethernet alternative to standard wireless connections. The Louder Esparagus utilizes a power adapter compliant with the USB-C Power Delivery standard.
