Points Beans

There are two forms of Points and Beans on the PCBWay website. Generally speaking, they are both means for PCBWay to give back to customers, but there are some differences. In order to let everyone better understand the rules of PCBWay, this article will introduce the differences between the two in detail, including their usage and acquisition methods.

Points:

Determine your level in the community, the higher the level, the higher the discount you will enjoy when placing an order. The details are shown in the figure below:

Acquisition Methods:

  • 1 point for every dollar spent on PCBWay.
  • 10 points for every purchase.
  • Answer other customers' questions in the Questions, and the reviewers will issue corresponding points according to the quality of the answers. 


Beans:

Used to redeem modules, gifts and coupons in the PCBWay Store.

Acquisition Methods:

  • 1bean for every dollar spent on PCBWay.
  • Share projects in the open-source community, and the reviewers will issue corresponding points according to the quality of the projects.
  • Answer other customers' questions in the Questions, and the reviewers will issue corresponding points according to the quality of the answers.


Note:

  • Placement of an order or redemption in the PCBWay store will not consume the accumulated points. However, after the beans are used to exchange for modules, gifts or coupons, the number of beans will reduce accordingly. Points and beans are to separate systems
  • When the amount is less than 1 US dollar, it will be counted as 1 point and 1 bean.
  • Points and beans will only be added after confirmation of receipt.
