PCF8563 RTC Board
Introduction：
PCF8563 is CMOS real-time clock/calendar optimized with low power consumption. Programmable clock output, interrupt output and low voltage detector are also provided.
All addresses and data of are transmitted serially through two-way i2c bus. The maximum bus speed is 400kbit /s s. The built-in word address register of automatically increments every time a data byte is written or read.
The address register is automatically incremented after each data byte is written or read.
- Function description: Clock module based on I2C interface, with calendar function, connected to standby battery, can continue to work after power failure.
- Support two interface types to access the target board: needle row or socket row
- Support I2C bus cascade (multiple I2C modules can be used at the same time by the method of pin and socket docking)
- Typical applications: occasions where calendar, alarm clock and other functions are needed.
- Main resources: PCF8563, I2C interface, on-board 3.3V battery power supply (optional)
Interface description:
- VCC: positive power supply (3.3V/5V)
- GND: power ground
- SDA: I2C data input
- SCL: I2C clock signal
