Commodore 64 PLA replacementThis project is an SMD version of the awesome Commodore 64 PLA -replacement by Dani?l Mantione. Published under permission from Dani?l.This version uses 2 pieces of GAL20V8B chips in 28-pin PLCC package. Due to size constraints, soldering the chips is best done by hot air or hot plate, either using solder paste or tinning the pins and using flux. 1 × MIDI IN, 1 × MIDI OUT.The PCB is contained inside serial port DB25 plug.Fast optocoupler with high current transfer ratio.Fully compatible with existing software.Software accessing MIDI through camd.library do not need any drivers.This PCB version is SMT parts only.Please mind the double footprint: MAX232A can be either 16-SOIC 0.154", 3.90mm and 0.295", 7.50mm Width.Compatible Roland MT-32, SC-88VL and raspberry implementations such as MT32-Pi.Tested with SCUMM and Sierra games.
