Signal Conditioning Board

This card features galvanic isolation based on the use of photo-couplers for the inputs and drivers for external relays (MOSFETs or bipolar transistors) for the outputs. It also includes configurable analog conditioning (divider bridges) for measuring high voltages (up to 1.5 MV) and associated currents (a few mA). Digital measurements are carried out by an NI-9403 module and analog measurements by an NI-9201 module. This card is used to interface the two acquisition modules housed in an NI brand eRIO NI-9147 chassis with a test bench used for the qualification of very high voltage cables. The card is based on the use of a CMS component for conditioning and two transformers for measurements on variable 380 Volts AC. The photo shows the finished board mounted on a DIN rail bracket, as this board will be installed in the control console of the test bench.
