USB to UART/I2C Bridge
Great qualiy PCBs as ever. This project is a bridge between USB and UART or I2C. The UART part can be used with every kind of terminal emulator program, even from an Android phone using an OTG adapter. The I2C part is very useful since you can communicate with I2C devices for testing purposes and there is an I2C application for linux, mac, windows and android phones. Device can operate in both 5 and 3.3V using a jumper: the IC will be powered at selected voltage and so logic level will follow the Vdd voltage. Same voltage will be also available on headers. The UART header is FTDI compatible. The I2C header has the I2C pullups resistors if you want to mount them or you can leave unpopulated if you plan to use it in circuits where pullup resistors are alreadi mounted. Soon I'll made available a page will entire project specifications and usage instrunctions on my website.
