AAA Remote Battery Board for Retro PC BIOS

AAA Remote Battery Board - Updated!

Remote RTC/CMOS/NVRAM battery for retro computer motherboards. Provides about +4.5V. Which is what most vintage motherboards require. +3V, like from a CR2032, is not appropriate!

Features:

Higher voltage than CR2032 and higher capacity for longer life
Diode to prevent reverse charging
Diode delete solder jumper - NEW
Universal fuse holder footprint accepts wide and narrow spacing - NEW
100ma fuse to protect motherboard if a short develops
Nylon fuse holder contains fuse blast and glass
Uses 1x4 pin headers found on most motherboards for simple cabling
PCB cutouts for Cable tie to secure batteries in rough service situations
Backer board to raise battery off case when using tape/velcro - NEW
Mounting holes for M3 standoffs
No motherboard modifications required!

Misc info:

Any 5mm x 20mm 100mA fuse can be used.

Any fuse holder with 15mm or 22mm leg spacing can be used.

Any 1N4148 diode can be used.

Any 2.54mm header can be cut to fit.
