Description
CASDuino (and similar) Compatible Player for Computer Cassettes
This hardware runs CASDuino and similar compatible Arduino sketches in an Arduino Nano.
The OLED display shows a list of .CAS cassette audio data image files stored on a micro SD card in the on-board card socket.
Buttons can be used to navigate the file list and then used to begin playback or stop playback of the desired cassette file.
Audio is sent out with a 3.5mm jack, which can be connected to the audio input of retro computers that had a cassette interface connector.
There is also a 2.5mm jack to allow remote starting of the cassette file playback so the computer can begin loading the file when ready.
