Dial lamp to LED conversion boards
I recently converted the dial lamps on a Sony CRF-320 receiver to LED's, and the effect was wonderful. The dial lamps were very dim, and finding suitable replacements is becoming difficult. LEDs also use far less current, so this conversion is a great idea.
The only issue I had was wiring up the simple circuit point-to-point, so I decided to make small PCBs to simplify the task. I designed two versions - a through-hole one for most of us, and an SMD version for the brave at heart.
Be sure to order them as panelised boards so that the price is more affordable. Also, you can - and should - chat with the live assistant, who can help you achieve the most affordable and practical panalisation for the quantity you requir.
Note that in some cases polarity is an issue, so watch the video.
