Align Racing UiA - Thermistor Flex PCB

Align Racing is a non-profit organization based in Southern Norway at the University of Agder. Our organization consists of 60 active members who design, produce, manage logistics, and advertise our projects. Since 2017, we have been manufacturing Formula Student cars annually, and we commenced producing Electric vehicles in 2022.

For this year's season, we aim to enhance our Accumulator by upgrading to 588V to improve efficiency and power output. This advancement will build upon the performance of our 2023 car, which secured 3rd place in FSUK.

Thermistor Flex PCB

These Thermistor Flex PCBs will be glued to the Aluminium Busbars to comply with the FSG ruleset. They will cover 220 cells in the Accumulator, achieving 31.4% coverage. Additionally, there will be a Slave BMS responsible for measuring these temperatures, determining the maximum output power, and shutting off the vehicle if the temperature exceeds 60 degrees.
