Caltech Racing Motor Controller

This project is a student designed motor controller that will be used in the powertrain of Caltech Racing's 2020 Formula SAE Electric Racecar. The motor controller will take power from our 408V battery pack and drives our 80kW electric motor.

Caltech Racing is a student club building a formula style electric racecar to compete in the Formula SAE competition that was held in Lincoln, Nebraska this past year. In this international competition, we managed to place 19th out of all the electric teams! You can check out an overview in our most recent newsletter (attached). Also, here's a really great article from the LA Times about how well the FSAE competition prepares engineering students for industry, http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-formula-sae-recruiting-20170618-story.html

We would greatly appreciate any help you could give us as we are a group of engineering students.
