About Us

Hello, we are Feb Racing and we participate in the annual Formula SAE National competition. Currently our team has 53 members divided between administrative and project boards from different areas, from engineering, computing, to psychology and journalism. We are a team always evolving to reach our goals in the competition and reach higher positions among the teams.

Embedded Eletronics System

Our last on-board eletronics system didn't have the necessary reliability, because of lack of knowledge and proper time for it. But we used the methods we had at the time to gather data from our car, such as RPM, engine temperature, air entrance, brake temperature and turning and speed related to the suspension system. The system used a centralized ECU board that was communicated via CAN protocol to sampled data to the pilot and storage it in an SD card.

New Embedded System

The new embedded system for this year is focused in the reliability of the system, that's why we are loooking for the sponsorship. This year we will use the CAN protocol to gather the information about the engine and several sensors and modules to adquire brake temperature, turning and speed related to the suspension, brake line pressure, GPS signal and therefore transmit this data to a local server through 2G communication and storage in an SD card too.
