Formula SAE University Laval
Hello,
I am reaching out on behalf of University Laval’s Formula SAE team. We are a group of engineering students located in Quebec, Canada that design and build an electric race car to compete in the largest engineering competition worldwide! We have custom-built electronics to ensure safety and control of the car ( inverters, battery management system, ECU etc.). Our team just finished designing a board called the Brake System Plausibility Device. This board is used to cut the High Voltage Interlock Loop of our car in case of hard braking.
I recently made a quote on your website because we are currently looking for a PCB manufacturer that would be proud of supporting us in our project! As we are students, we are mainly supported by sponsors and a low volume PCB is a critical expense for us. We can offer visibility in exchange for your help. The PCB is 4 layers rigid-flex and when unfolded in measures 153mm x 23.5mm.
Keep in mind that flexible PCBs are not common in our competitions so our design will definitely catch the eyes of design judges and other teams during our presentations. We can also put your logo on the PCB itself if required. We only need the board because we already have most of the components.
