About The Team
Team Chimera is the electric racing team from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore, has been igniting innovation since its founding in 2006. Over 15 years, the team's journey evolved from exploring hybrid powertrains to mastering high-performance electric race cars, showcasing the boundless potential of sustainable mobility. With a passion for clean technology and an eco-conscious vision, Team Chimera excels in simulations, testing, and manufacturing, racing custom-built vehicles worldwide. This award-winning team not only upholds RVCE's engineering legacy but also shapes a sustainable future, proving that electric vehicles are the driving force of tomorrow's transportation.
Our Recent Achievements:
- Formula Imperial 2023 - Won 3rd position in Marketing & Business Plan in the Electric Category.
- In 2021 we designed a model that won 4th place in the FSEV Concept Challenge.
- In the Formula Bharat 2020 event conducted virtually - 9th in Engineering Design and 9th overall.
- Formula Bharat 2020 - 6th position in the Design event and 8th overall.

The project uses PCBs extensively as its serves as the major components for the reliable and safe running of the car The PCBs are going to
be used for the following features:-
Brake System Plausibility Device (BSPD), Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS),Tractive System Active Light (TSAL), and various Other Circuits such as pre-Charge, key switch, discharge, safety and Shutdown circuits.
