Team Information

McMaster Baja Racing Team is a group of devoted undergraduate students at McMaster University who work together to compete in the SAE Baja Series.

Competition Information

The team is tasked each year to design, build, test and race a small off-road vehicle, which must endure a variety of dynamic events and a four hour endurance race on a track designed for severe punishment to test the abilities and durability of the vehicle.

PCB Information

This year we are designing our first every data acquisition PCB. The goal of this PCB is to compile data about the car from a variety of sensors and save them onto an SD card. The data we acquire includes GPS information, IMU information, primary and secondary RPM, CVT temperature. This PCB also includes headers for 3 status LEDs, 1 power switch and a steering wheel mounted heads up display. This board is powered through a external LiPO battery.
