Robocup Soccer Team

### DESCRIPTION ( Introduce yourserlf and your project)

We are a team of students from Australia, building a soccer robot to compete in Robocup Junior in the lightweight soccer division. Our robot utilises multiple PCBs to neaten the robot and reduce errors. We used PCBWay last year and were very happy with the quality and service.

### TECHNICAL DETAILS (With project photos)

Our robot plays in a 2v2 soccer match in which it must detect an IR ball. We use 24 TSSP58038 IR sensors to detect the ball. The robot must stay inside a white outline so we use 36 reflective light sensors to detect the line. We also use a camera to detect the goals at either end. It is powered by 4 Teensy 3.5s for high speed.

We use multiple PCBs:

* Main PCB - Microcontrollers, IR sensors, camera

* Light PCB - Light sensors

* Encoder PCB - encoders for more precise movement

* Laser PCB - for mounting the laser of a light gate

* Light Gate PCB - for mounting the detector of a light gate

* Gyroscope PCB - custom breakout for the gyroscope

### Words to PCBWay

After using PCBWay last year we were very happy with quality, reliablilty and service. We are now seeking sponsorship to allow us to budget for higher quality components as we are enthusiastic and aiming high in our competition. Any support would be greatly appreaciated.
