ePR02: The Electric Racing Motorcycle

About the Team

We are the university team EEBE ePowered Racing of "Escola d'Enginyeria de Barcelona Est" (EEBE - UPC) from Barcelona, Spain. The team is made up by 18 engineering students of different fields and our goal is to develop an all-electric racing motorcycle with a competitive, reliable and clean energy design.

Our team was established in 2015 by a group of seven students that were determined to participate in MotoStudent. Since then we have already develop two bikes: ePR00 and ePR01.

Thanks to the effort and dedication of both team members and sponsors, in the 5th edition of MotoStudent, we managed to finish sixth in the world ranking, fourth in Spain and first in Catalonia, out of a total of 26 different teams.

Nowadays, we are finishing the design process of our new motorbike, which is going to compete in the 6th edition of MotoStudent. Moreover, the competition has different parts to present, and for this reason we are working on our innovation project.

Our Circuit Boards

Inside our bike there are some PCBs, designed by our electronic department during the year. This kind of components are used into the dashboard and the battery management system. Moreover, we are working in an innovation project which is going to use a flexible PCB, the team will you this occasion to test that new kind of circuit boards.
