What is Glasgow Interface Explorer?
Glasgow Interface Explorer is an open source multitool designed for hardware designers, reverse engineers, digital archivists, electronics hobbyists etc. Without additional active or passive components, it can be attached to most devices and provides extensive protection from unexpected conditions and operator error. You are not required with any programming knowledge. Of course, it will become more powerful with Python.
The Glasgow hardware can support many digital interfaces, such as FPGA/CPLD Bitstream Programming Interfaces, radio, sensor and other interfaces. Also, the Glasgow Revision C board includes 16 input/output (I/O) pins with a peak 100MHz frequency, independent direction control, and independent pull-up/down resistors, grouped into two I/O ports compatible with 1V8 to 5V logic. Each I/O bank has a dedicated programmable linear voltage regulator and a dedicated sense ADC.
Features
Communicate via standard UART
