printed circuit board PCB Multilayer Flexible Circuits

Definition of Multilayer Flexible Circuits
A multilayer flex circuit is essentially three or more flexible conductive layers with flexible insulating layers between each one, which are interconnected by way of plated through holes (PTH).

Applications for Flexible Circuits
Applications are similar to those of Flexible Circuits. However, like multilayer rigid pcbs, multilayer flex circuits allow for increased functionality in a smaller footprint (or width).
