Step 4. Adjust canvas' contrast ratio and intensity to form sharp contrast between the part with copper film and the part without copper film, and then turn the pictures into black and white color. Check if the lines are clear, if not, the above job must be repeated; if clear, save the pictures in black and white BMP format file, namely TOP.BMP and BOT.BMP.
Step 5. Turn two BMP format files into PROTEL format and insert TOP and BOTTOM layers; if the two layers' pads and vias are overlapping, the next step can continue; on the contrary, the job of step 3 must be done again.
Step 6. Turn TOP.BMP into TOP.PCB in SILK layer, draw lines on TOP layer and place components according to pictures mentioned in step 2; finally delete SILK layer after finishing drawing.
Step 7. Turn BOT.BMP into BOT.PCB in SILK layer, and then draw lines on BOT layer, finally delete SILK layer after finishing drawing.
Step 8. Insert TOP PCB and BOT PCB in PROTEL and then integrate them into a picture.
Step 9. Use laser printer to print TOP LAYER and BOTTOM LAYER with transparent film (1:1 ratio) and then put the transparent film on the PCB for checking. If there isn't any error, the PCB copy is successful.
