PCB orders in April North America rose by 7.2%

Currently, the main global PCB production in China, in 2012 China's PCB production and sales have accounted for 40% of global production, due to the growing Chinese companies and the overall technology promotion, is expected to last three to five years, China's production and sales will be close to 45% - 45% of the world, and the world advanced level.

Entered after 2013, the north American PCB shipments, fell 7% year on year in April 2013, but orders are up 7.2% from a year earlier. Year-to-date, PCB industry shipments fell by 5.1%, a 2.3% drop in orders. Compared with last month, PCB shipments in April, fell by 9.9%; Orders fell 14.3%. For the past five months, orders have been over shipments.

IPC market research director ms SharonStarr said: "although sales in North America, PCB levels lower than the same period last year, but flexible plate sales remain strong. Rigid PCB orders more than the same period last year level, push the book-to-bill ratio of high to 1.10, lasted for five consecutive months of growth, the next few months the PCB sales are expected to further strengthen."
