Software Required for This Tutorial: DesignSpark PCB V11.0.0
This tutorial demonstrates how to export centroid files from DesignSpark PCB Explorer 11.0.
Example: chipKIT Max32.pcb.
Step1: Open DesignSpark PCB Explorer 11.0, select "File"->"Open", navigate to the software installation path, choose"Examples"->"ChipKitMax32"->"chipKIT Max32.pcb", as shown in the following image:
Step2: Select "Output"->"Reports"
Afterward, a window will pop up. Choose "Component Position CSV," then click on the "Run" button in the upper right corner, as indicated by the arrows in the following image:
Step3: After clicking "Run," the exported CSV file will automatically open. The .csv format centroid file is shown in the following image. Save the file to the desired location.
