2Way Amplifier With Active Cross Over mono PCB
This is my DIY project try make an amplifier that have 2 way output stage on a mono channel.
The output is mono channel, but it have 2 output stage to drive low freq loudspeaker and high freq loudspeaker separately.
The way it works is when the input signal is fed, there is a frequency division carried out by the op-amp that works as a low pass filter (LPF) and high pass filter (HPF) with a cutoff point of about 300Hz. From the active cross over, it will be processed directly by each of the final amplifier lines.
This circuit use LM1875 gainclone for the high frequency output stage and TDA7294 for the low freq output stage
The reason I chose these two types of ic is because the LM1875 has good separation and characteristics at the high-mid while the TDA7294 has good character at low frequencies and produces stable power to drive woofer speakers
By the way you can change the lm1875 with tda2050 as the high freq output stage.
Use the master volume to adjust the volume of the two amplifier lines together
if needed, change the low level and high level trimpot to a potentiometer if you need to adjust it separately
It need 18-0-18 up to 24-0-24 simmetrical transformer from 5Amp to 10Amp
