40,000 RPM Impulse turbine
The I-001 turbine is an experimental turbine designed to make 110 W of power when spun by a supersonic stream of air. The whole point of this project was to check the validity of an equation derived from basic Newtonian laws. The project was successful in demonstrating the fact that an Impulse turbine could be designed using that equation.
