Hello Friends, In this post I make a 500W class AB Driver. For 500W you need to use 5 pairs of 2SC5200 & 2SA1943 transistors and 45-0-45V To 50-0-50V 8A To 10A Transformer.
Testing Method After Complete This Amplifier
1. Series light test:- After completing this board don't forget to series light test. When you turn on this amplifier via a series light, it glows for some time (1 - 2 sec). Then the series light will turned off fully. If the series light is fully turned off, then check the voltages.
2. Check Voltages:- Bias volt 0.5V to 0.7V. Check Speaker Output and Audio Input voltage. Here you get no voltages 0.00V. If you get the same voltages, connect the preamplifier to the input and the speaker to the output.
3. Power Supply:- If you use this amplifier as a 100W amplifier, then you use a 30-0-30V 5A Transformer. If you expand this amplifier up to 500W, then you use 45-0-45V to 50-0-50V 8A to 10A Transformer.
