All in one 10 Cell Li-ion Battery Charging Station
Introduction-
Today, I am excited to present to you an innovative and highly efficient lithium-ion battery charging station. Unlike anything you have seen before, this charging station is designed to charge up to 10 cells simultaneously while ensuring maximum safety and convenience.
One of the standout features of this charging station is its built-in overcharging protection mechanism. This means you can charge your batteries with peace of mind, knowing that they will not be subjected to excessive voltage that could potentially damage them.
Additionally, this charging station incorporates a voltage monitoring system that allows you to individually check the voltage of each battery. This feature is incredibly useful for assessing the health and performance of your batteries, ensuring that they are in optimal condition before use.
Furthermore, this charging station provides real-time power consumption monitoring. You can easily keep track of how much power the station is utilizing, giving you valuable insights into energy usage and efficiency.
By combining these advanced features into one compact and user-friendly design, this lithium-ion battery charging station sets a new standard in battery charging technology. Whether you are a hobbyist, a professional, or simply someone who values convenience and safety, this station will revolutionize your battery charging experience.
Features -
- Charging Capacity
- Universal Compatibility:
- LED Indicators:
- Space-saving Design:
- Protection Mechanisms:
- Versatility and Portability:
- User-Friendly Operation
- Energy Efficiency:
- Durability and Build Quality
To build This you will need the following components:
- TP4056 Charging Modules
- 18650 Battery Holder
- Volt Amp Meter
- Volt Meter
- On/Off Switch
- 10 PIN DIP Switch
- 2-pin Screw Terminals
- XT60 Connectors
- Male Header Pins
And we need a few components like charging modules, switches, voltmeter, st60 connectors, on/off switches, volt map meter and so on.
To connect the charging modules here I am using these pin headers. because while charging these modules often get hot so I decided instead of directly soldering them into the board it would be better to use these headers so that there would be an air gap.
Now I will connect all the push-button switches to the board. By using these switches we can turn on or turn off the charging.
Now one by one I will connect all the battery holders. These the PCB-mounted battery holders made for 18650 batteries.
Now lest come to the bottom part of our PCB here for power input I am using a 2pin screw terminal and XT60 connectors.
And to monitor the input power supply I have added a volt amp meter and a 10-pin DIP switch to control all cells and a mini volt meter to measure the voltage of all batteries.
To hide these wires and to prevent any kind of short ckt I will add another pcb, and using some M3 spacer will be easier for me. and as you can see after adding the 2nd layer we don't need any casing for this charging station. Now it's time for testing so let's test our changing station and hopefully everything will work fine.
In conclusion, the introduction of this groundbreaking lithium-ion battery charging station represents a significant advancement in the field of battery technology. With its ability to charge multiple cells simultaneously, integrated overcharging protection, individual voltage monitoring, and real-time power consumption monitoring, this charging station offers unparalleled convenience, safety, and efficiency.
By utilizing this cutting-edge charging station, users can confidently charge their batteries without worrying about overcharging or potential damage. The ability to monitor the voltage of each battery provides valuable insights into their health and performance, ensuring optimal functionality. Additionally, real-time power consumption monitoring allows users to make informed decisions regarding energy usage and efficiency.
Whether you are an electronics enthusiast, a professional relying on reliable power sources, or simply someone seeking a hassle-free and efficient charging solution, this lithium-ion battery charging station is a game-changer. Embrace the future of battery charging technology and experience the convenience and peace of mind that this innovative station brings.
