  • I hate to say this but I see all the time 'problems' that no one ever asked for a solution for. It is environmentally irresponsible and overworked on an engineering level to provide a solution for a simple 'push' of a soap/sanitizer dispenser. It requires energy, more components, manufacturing, and plastics to implement.

"I understand your perspective that some 'problems' may not have been asked for a solution, but it is important to recognize that creativity and innovation often comes from identifying and solving problems that may not have been previously acknowledged. This shortsighted view disregards the potential benefits and advancements that can come from attempting to find solutions. Additionally, the innovative spirit of inventors in the 21st century should not be hindered by the question of whether a solution will have lasting value, as it is impossible to know the full impact and potential uses of a technology before it is developed. Furthermore, we should not be discouraged from developing and implementing technologies that may require energy, components, manufacturing, and plastics if the benefits outweigh the costs."
