DIY Fiber Laser Cutting Machine V2
These are all of the custom-milled aluminum parts used to build my machine design. PBCWay sponsored these parts for my project and they turned out great...thanks PCBWay!
My file-name structure is: "Name" x "Quantity"
So for example: "X-axis belt clamp riser x 4.step" means to order 4 of them.
Note: Holes are not tapped in these files, all holes are drill-sized and ready for tapping.
Cutting area: 790 mm x 620 mm
Max speed: 60M / min
Total machine cost: $10.5k (minimum, cost will increase if ordering aluminum parts)
I am using a 1000W fiber laser source on my machine, and I have tested up to 8mm mild steel with great results (max cut thickness will be around 10mm with a 1kw laser).
