Magnetic Exciter - UREBS-PEMF
UREBS - Uniform Rotating Exciter Burst Sine. This is a PEMF (Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field) generator. For details visit www.Nestronics.ca/pemf.html. You will find complete building details as well as test results. The two main features of this implementation is the Rotary Magnetic Field, and the High Uniformity of the field. Magnetic fields from a source drop normally off rapidly vs distance. This implementation uses a unique pseudo helmholtz like technique (using 2 planes of coils) that greatly improves the uniformity.
Note the parts cost of the wire(for the coils) and the high voltage capacitor banks, makes this not a low cost implementation(~$2000 CDN). Anyone building this project should have electronics/electrical knowledge, and know how to work with high voltages safely. The circuit uses resonance to build the magnetic burst, which is the most efficient method.
Magnetic fields up to 4mT peak (8mT peak to peak) is achieved with a uniformity ratio of better than 0.5 over an area of about 14"x10"x12".
