Minox Cassettes
Use these designs to make your own Minox cassettes. They have been tested in the Minox B camera and should work in others. You can use this device to slice 35mm film into strips that can be loaded into the cassette. You can use this spiral in your Patterson developing tank to develop your photographs.
You need to stick some self adhesive felt into the cassette slots (where the film goes into and out of the cassette) to make them light-tight. Stick the felt in the positions shown below:
The felt goes on the underside of the top of the left hand slot in the cassette holder (the takeup spool) and the bottom of the right hand slot (the feed spool).
This design has been tested and found to work, but you need to keep the cassette in its box until you need to use it and swap cassettes in subdued light.
