NeoPixel Level Shifter
This was designed to allow various control lines from an 3 Volt Arduino boards to many lines of 5 Volt NeoPixels (5 separate strips - no more than 60 NeoPixels each line). This is a level shifter to allow the Arduino a total of 5 control lines to 5 separate lines of NeoPixels (limited to 60 NeoPixel LEDs per line).
The board is to be powered via a separate 5 volt DC Power supply - I suggest one with more AMPS to carry loads if you are going to load up all 5 lines with up to 60 pixels each - (pay attention to the supply polarity as it should match what is printed on the PCB)
The positions labeled ARD123 and ARD45 are the inputs from your Arduino Card - My project used a MEGA card....
NEO1 to NEO5 are the output wires that go to your NeoPixel Strips. D is the Data line, + and - are the power leds.
Although each level shifter is a 4 channel shifter, the project I designed this for only needed 5 control lines, so in the second SN74AHCT125N I am using only 1 of the 4 channels, (channel 1) - Channels 2 to 4 have a 1K Resistor connected to them to pull them low so the chip knows to not use them.
